‘Venus’ was the film submitted as the artist's graduation project at University of the Arts: Camberwell College of Arts. The inspiration behind the film came from research about obsessive types of love between artists in romantic relationships; such as, Oskar Kokoshka, Hans Bellmer, Alberto Giacometti, Roland Penrose, and Man Ray. The film includes reference to Man Ray’s ticking metronome with a photograph of Lee Millers eye attached. There are other references of his photographs and paintings throughout the film which are easter eggs to be found. The character 'Venus' was inspired by the goddess and renaissance sex symbol.
