Flora Cattrell

'2020' is an animation created as a response to the year 2020 ending. Cattrell was working at a pub during the pandemic and was throwing away countless disposable paper menus a day. She began collecting them with the idea of animating onto them, some were covered in crayon drawings done by children. The character is on the electric scooter and wearing a face mask because in 2020 they both were new phenomena that we quickly became accustomed to.
